Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Wire EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) Operator with strong automation experience to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, operating, and maintaining wire EDM machines, focusing on precision, efficiency, and automation integration. They will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to optimize processes, implement improvements, and ensure high-quality outputs.
Responsibilities (Summary)
- Set up and operate Wire EDM machines
- Translating engineering drawings and specifications into machine instructions
- Configure automation systems integrated with EDM equipment
- Collaborate with engineering and automation teams to troubleshoot and improve automation systems
- Maintain Wire EDM Machine and associated equipment
- Inspecting finished parts to verify accuracy and adherence to specified tolerances
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
Must Have
- Proven experience operating Wire EDM machines in a manufacturing environment for at least 10 years
- Strong knowledge of automation systems related to EDM operations
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and programming languages used in EDM machining
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant technical certifications or training
- Exposure to CNC and robotic automation.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of ISO13485
- Good presentation skills.
- Fluency in English
- Strong analytical skills
