Job Overview
The CNC Machine Operator will report to the Division Manager based in the Carrick-on-Shannon site. The CNC Machine Operator will produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; and maintaining equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities (Summary)
- Set up and operate Milling machine / Lathe
- Translating engineering drawings and specifications into machine instructions (CAM Program)
- Configure automation systems integrated with Milling Machine / Lathe
- Collaborate with engineering and automation teams to troubleshoot and improve automation systems
- Maintain assigned Machine and associated equipment
- Inspecting finished parts to verify accuracy and adherence to specified tolerances

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
Must Have
- Technical certification in CNC operation or machining / National toolmaking certification or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a CNC milling machine operator (2-4 years preferred).
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and programming languages
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to have
- 5 Axis machining experience
- Knowledge of ISO13485
- Good presentation skills.
- Fluency in English
