Job Overview
Prior PLM Medical wishes to offer new and existing customers a bespoke moulding service, including rapid tooling and moulding, full mould NPI engineering and validation service and low-volume specialist moulding. This initiative is to augment our current offering of Biomedical Research, Product Development, Injection Mould Design and Manufacture, Metrology Solutions and Measurement and Tool modification and repair.
As Account Manager, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our key clients in the medical technology sector. While focused on account management, this role also includes a significant business development component. You will act as the primary point of contact for client interactions, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our key clients whilst driving sales and revenue growth.
Responsibilities (Summary)
- Develop and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders at our client organisations
- Expand the relationship with our existing clients by continuously proposing solutions to meet their objectives
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and our organization's internal teams, ensuring alignment with client objectives and delivering on commitments
- Drive business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities within the MedTech industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic account plans that drive business growth and enhance client satisfaction
- Conduct regular meetings and check-ins with clients to review performance metrics, discuss upcoming initiatives, and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing Prior PLM company model
- Track and analyse account performance metrics, including revenue growth, client satisfaction scores, and retention rates
- Achieve sales targets set out annually by the Business Development Manager
Must Have
- Proven track record of success in account management / business development client services roles within MedTech or related industries
- Strong understanding of the MedTech landscape, including industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients and stakeholders
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and clients alike

- Understanding of Metrology Systems
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
