The Prior Tool and Die Design Department is divided into two different and yet interrelated sections. Not only do our designers excel in Tool Design on Intergraph and Hewlett Packard machines and the latest CAD/CAM software from Unigraphics, Bentley Microstation, and Intergraph, they are also capable of Design for Manufacture when the need arises. Our Design Department is composed of qualified Tool Designers with a genuine enthusiasm for the design industry. We are capable of taking in a wide range of files via the internet, direct modem to modem transfer, 4mm data cartridge, and floppy disks.

Each project at Priors is allocated a team composed of at least, one Tool Maker, a Senior Design Engineer, and a Tool Designer. The Design Department prides itself on its 3D and 2D capabilities. In addition to standard services such as Data Transfer and Tool Design and Manufacture, Prior Tool and Die will help provide the following on request: Stereolitography, Mould Flow Analysis, Finite Element Analysis, Consultancy, and Product Design Alteration. |
